Man those amarr are monsters. I like the poison bit as that was one of the subjects mom covered in my homeschooling. but to use it to control someone is just wrong. Poisons are for killing and negotiating(You have the door code I want, and a virulent poison in your veins, and I have an antidote and enough isk for you and your family to move off world to a nice tropical zone on some far off temperate planet. Door code please.) not controlling someone long term. So you judge people who take other people as slaves, who would not be punished if they were obedient and too excessive punishment is against Amarr laws, and then use poisons to control their slaves. Yet you yourself use poison to coax out information you want from your subject, as a method of controlling what he will do and what he will reveal. I smell hypocricy here. Long term, short term is irrelevant, it's control all the same and somehow yours is better.
And nearly every non-Amarr here misses the reason why Amarr take slaves in the first place. It isn't just for the sake of it, it isn't to save costs on labor force, it is done because theh want to convert you to Amarr faith. Through the hardships you experience as a slave, where you will hopefully convert to the Amarr faith. As years have passed, if you were converted, your holder sets you free and you are free to live in the Amarr society. If your holder did nothing but abuse you to make you work harder, he failed as a holder and is obligated to set you free.
Do I agree with this? No. But it is definitely more noble of a goal than for instance, Gallente torturing to get information, monitoring the private lives of your own citizens and censoring criticism about your government for the sake of "security", actively trying to meddle with Caldari matters in the hopes of this same kind of "conversion" Amarr do, and leaving a large part of your citizens to fend for themselves in a pirate infested lowsec in the middle of a warzone.
Who's the greater monster here?
Don't get me wrong Raden, I am not saying you should have stayed with the Amarr, what I am trying to explain here is that Amarr aren't the absolute evil tyrants nearly every Minmatar and Gallente portray them to be, and pointing out some Gallente hypocricy

That is my separation, I am not torturing for "freedom", or some twisted faith, I do it to get what I need from others, no higher purpose. I give them a moment of pain, which, I prefer to actually use painless poisons for, or in some cases, no poison at all and merely the threat of a poison, in exchange for an easy life far from the conflicts they've been abandoned to.
How would hardship inflicted on you by another ever sway you to the faith which demanded they inflict that pain on you? You mistake me for a defender of the Amarr faith, I'm not. Frankly, I don't care what you believe in or what you perceive yourself to be, nor anyone else unless they affect me directly. What I do not accept though, is hypocricy, idiots and blindly shouting out false information. I correct false information and leave it at that and that is what I did.

So we'll need to create more tomorrows until this world is finally whole. Even if I must walk alone, this is the path I have chosen. To become the grandest monster known, so that people may put aside their differences even if they only do so to take up arms to slay me. From those foxholes, friendships will arise, those stories will spread and inspire goodwill. maybe in a thousand years those seeds will have blossomed into flowers of peace between men.
Or those men will die and their sons will be right back at each others throats. I still can say on the day I finally die for the last time, that I gave it all my might, and for a moment I achieved something grand.
When we arrive at whatever uncharted shore we wash up on after all of this is over, first round's on me. I'll extend that to the Templar and his little princess as well. You're really funny, you really are. Seriously, that has got to be the best joke I've ever heard.
