This is my favorite Dust video. I don't know any dust player that hates that video. this is the video that was new when i first joined the game and it made me excited. This video is my way.
But sadly this way is gone, I want My way, Our way as Mercenaries to come back. This is OUR WAR, and we have to be able to fight it correctly, is does that mean that we get aim assist to help out the noobs. HELL NO.
I want Dust 514 to be like this again, an adventure into the unknown and into the danger. But to be able to feel like this suit i'm wearing will actually last me and i'll get my monies worth of it.
Of course we still want our new items, maps the improved hit detection, and the lovely new UI, but everything else that can go out the door because it simply isn't needed.
Seriously look at the graphics in that, it actually feels like your in a warzone. Not in a beautiful garden full of amazing and wonderful sights, NO this is a war, we need a warzone not a flower patch to fight in.
Let me know what you think, or if there was anything else good about the new updates that we should keep that wasn't better in chromosome.

yeah, some of the old UI was good, but the old factional contract UI was pretty bad because it took forever to find a battle, and when you found one it disapeared pretty quickly so you would just have to sit there and wait for one to pop up and that was kinda annoying.
But remember the Icons for all of the dropsuits in the market, those were cool. i liked those old scout medium, and heavy frame icons.

Heh, the meta in EVE and DUST are hardcore. Not the gameplay really.
Aiming is really just fine, just buff scouts (I know who you are), they are the only class really being brutalized by it, so they need a buff to speed and basic survivablity.
Aiming is fine, scouts are not.
