A Sony representative has provided the following statement to IGN:
"A handful of people have reported issues with their PlayStation 4 systems. This is within our expectations for a new product introduction, and the vast majority of PS4 feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. We are closely monitoring for additional reports, but we think these are isolated incidents and are on track for a great launch.
There have been several problems reported, which leads us to believe there isnGÇÖt a singular problem that could impact a broader percentage of systems. The number of affected systems represents less than .4% of shipped units to date, which is within our expectations for a new product introduction."

not shocking, they haven't had large number to stress test the PS4 connection to PSN. check out the obama care and the fails they have had.

that doesn't actually hurt all that much, i been a die hard xbox and microsoft fan for years. i think microsoft lost their way with console games but they will come back eventually and hell the new xbox one might be its turn around, but if your calling me a sony fan, lol no. if i had not been forced to get one to play with friends i dont live near anymore, i would still be loving my xbox 360. but all console are doomed to face some first day troubles. give it a week i bet you most of it will be fixed

The PS4 have two lunch days. 15 Nov merica and the 29 Non rest of the world. This could extend the network problems if you ask me. (15 Nov. in Merica to farm some xbox marked shares) Xbox One is lunching only in some countries on 21 Nov. this could lead to some very big network problems. But actually I was hoping to see a Dust514/PS4 discussion here, I guess it is not possible without being called a occult member or some one pointing out that the PS4 is already crap?
