Anyone else seen stuff like this?
For the last -- I don't know -- month or so I've noticed the game is missing or delaying Dual Shock and mouse button presses and releases a lot more than I've ever seen before. I recently skilled into the charge sniper rifle and that's where it shows up most. I have released the mouse button to fire the rifle and there is a noticeable delay -- as much as a second -- before the rifle fires.
It's not just the charge sniper rifle. I've seen it dropping equipment like nanohives, drop uplinks and proximity mines.
It may be an unrelated problem, but choosing equipment with the mouse requires a very precise swipe and mouse release and it seems to have gotten harder as well.
It's difficult to make a video of the behaviour because you'd have to see both the players hands on the controller and the response on the display.
It is but to keep the nerves at strain, to dry one's eyes and laugh at a fall, and baffled, get up and begin again.

I've noticed this mostly with forge guns, could be up to a second after charge maxes out before it fires, can be incredibly annoying. I've mostly chalked it to some weird lag that happens from time to time.

I noticed that the NT 511 sniper rifle doesn't exhibit the missed key issues I talked about with the charge. That leads me to think the issue may be detecting the button-up action.
That being said -- the missed key-stroke can be reproduced reliably. If you pre-equip equipment -- say a proximity mine -- jump in a LAV, drive some place, jump out and try to immediately deploy the mine using the mouse it will miss the mouse press almost every time.
I haven't tested it yet but it may be that the dropped key/button presses have something to do with ongoing animations or the character changing state -- like entering or leaving a vehicle.
It is but to keep the nerves at strain, to dry one's eyes and laugh at a fall, and baffled, get up and begin again.

I notice something similar with exiting dropships. About eighty percent of the time, I can't exit unless I hit the fire button first. It doesn't matter if I'm in the gunner seat or not. Doesn't happen if I'm flying the dropship though.
The forge gun splash radius nerf has not diminished my ability to kill infantry with it. Thank you.
