Before us lies the dawn of a new console generation. This Friday and the weeks forthcoming will decide the fate of this game for me. Whether I save my ps3 just to play this game...or sell it as well.
How many vets will be PC'ing come January? How many will care enough to stick around for PC 2.0?

Ill still be running behind enemy lines with my little pistol and overly large plasma cannon on my scout. I wont have enough money in savings for a ps4 for a very long time more than likely. |

I doubt gamestop or anyone else is going to give me enough for my PS3 to make it worth me selling it, plus I still will probably want to play Dust a little bit and there is Last of Us single player DLC in December or January and what if I want to play my old games!?
But I'm a hoarder when it comes to consoles I still have my Sega Saturn, PS1, and PS2 packed away in my closet somewhere along with all the games I ever owned for them. Heck I'm pretty sure my NES and Genesis are in my parents' house somewhere along with those old games. |

Both will be plugged in ready to go on my game mood for that day. I'm sure the new toy will get some love for awhile, but I'm sure to keep the dust going. Especially when my rail comes a calling. |

I'm not buying anything console related when it first comes out, history has been rather vocal on why that is a colossal aggravation.
Inferior parts, bad programming, smaller memory/less features, and a plethora of other charming "first gen" problems? I'll pass and wait. Not to mention backwards compatibility issues... I still have my PS2 for those reasons.
For me, I'm waiting out the dawn and looking for the morning.
