That's why I use the logi. The only race with a worse Logi than Assault is the Amarr. The Amarr Assault's bonus is so much better than the Logi's.... ö/\ö :D

But most still need a CPU mod on one of their two lows to fit their suit well. I have maxed out my core skills and its still a PITA to try to fit. It should be. There are 4 types of damage: EM - Laser rifles and scrams etc - rapes shields Thermal - Plasma Rifle, Blaster turrets, etc - Hybrid with slight bonus to shield dmg, less to armor. Kinetic - Sniper, rail rifle ... - Hybrid with slight bonus to armor dmg, less to shields. Explosive - lol driver, lolcus grenades - rapes armor. I believe weapons like the smg and the combat rifle fall into the Explosive category, either that or kinetic, not sure.

The Gal assaults seem pretty damn good from what I am seeing. Remove time in battle from ISK payout formula and provide a bonus to winning team... Watch battles become fun again.

Laser- Scrambler, laser, bonus to shields Railguns- Forgegun, Rail Rifle, bonus to armor penalty to shields Blasters- Bonus too shields, penalty to armor, AR, PLC. Projectile - Bonus to armor, small penalty to shie+éd (half that of the rails), SMG, HMG And of course, explosives. For the State! For Caldari FW join Caldari Hierarchy

When making gal assault, you're either lacking high armor or decent armor rep since there arent many low slots to go around, but the extra low slot and +5 rep on logi makes that decision much easier.
