The title is self explanatory.
With the amount of SCRs on the field I seem to be dying much faster
The suit is a Logistics M/1 Series, so if you have an anti-SCR fit then please share

Not getting shot is the best way not to die.
If you think Plasma Rifles take skill to use and are fine as they are, you are the problem.

They're weaker against armor. So my suggestion is running armor if you don't mind the speed loss.
I run ADV assault SCR on my scout because it works more effectively than my Gek. I would go Shotty, but I prefer to keep my targets further away. |

Get close and keep moving. I run a cal logo with shield and armor tank. Usually I bob and weave enough to doge most shots, they still take my shields but I usually take them before they get my armor.

get atleast 400 armor and 200 shields and you wont be OHK by any scr.
I run a 400 shield, 400 armor mimi assault and as long as they dont get a headshot, the scr isnt too deadly.
(unless its a amar assault ****** with an imperial)

I'm armor tanker to the max and they still melt my face off worse than the Plasma Rifle.

The SCR especially the Single Shot SCRs have mad range. With the accuracy fix and the charge shot ability you can expect some serious damage. If you go shields you are screwed. If you go armor all it takes is one militia grenade.

You need a proto suit and some good armor mods, you wont survive long in ADV and STD suits. Dont think armor buffer will always save you, SCR hits like a truck so that 20% reduction isnt as bad as you think
Never stand still, never walk in straight lines towards the enemy
Try to keep your body covered or mostly covered, SCR users like to shoot as fast as they can at the largest body mass so use objects and hills to your advantage
Avoid headshots by strafing unpredictably, even when you're not in action, try to get into a habit of moving a little so the unseen ninja cant get a easy headshot
Currently SCR range isnt all that great, if you're using an GAR, most likely you have the range advantage
Like most semi-automatics, hitting a fast strafing target at ranges that aimbot doesnt work well isnt easy, consider speedier builds |

There is absolutely nothing you can do against this. Those guns have bonus damage to Shields. Minmatar and Caldari tank with shields. When you completely remove the tank then you die once you hit armor. When those guns are doing 80-100 dmg per shot, you're pretty much Fu**ed!

If DUST were a strafe shooter I'd be ice skating already. Aim assist prevents the strafe from being effective. If you don't believe me. Go kneel on the ground and point your gun at someone who is a decent distance away from you. Let go of the joystick and just watch as it tracks the target for you.
It tracks about 2-3 meters to the left and 2-3 meters to the right. In a gunfight that's about as much strafe as you'll ever manage to achieve without speed mods on. Thus the auto-aim-assist renders this style of gameplay completely useless.
Try again Regnyum.
Something I think may play an important role in this are those ferroscale plates. They don't reduce speed as much as the other larger plates which could possibly allow you to strafe larger distances to avoid the aim assist.

Imperial charge shots do approximately 400 damage with charge shots assuming damage mods are used.
If you are getting OHKO'd, you are either running militia gear or running a shield tank.
Also, posting in stealth nerf SCR thread.
