I got a bit annoyed when I earned 2535 WP and didn't get an orbital. If a player single-handedly earns enough War Points to get an Orbital then they should get one, regardless of if they took the time to make a solo squad or not.

Always thought it was peculiar they didn't just go to 2500. 2. By forming a 1 man squad it prevents you from receiving squad invites. If you try and invite someone part of another squad then you will get a window popping up saying something about how they are unable to receive it because they are in a squad already. I wouldn't have minded being invited to a squad, I just wasn't actively searching for one. If players all start making lone wolf squads then no one would be able to form an actual squad unless they invited the person before going into the queue. What I'm saying is to essentially turn every solo player into a one man squad that isn't registered as a squad on the chat and whose members (technically member since it would only be the one player) can receive invites to other squads. This way people who want to play solo can still reap the benefits of doing well, while still being able to get invited to another squad for teamwork. If someone makes a locked solo squad, like you said to, then they are essentially saying "I'm antisocial and don't like teamwork. Leave me alone and go away."

The game doesn't reward solo based play that's what clearly differentiates games like this from COD. I'm sorry man but it would have been just as easy to create your own squad, your excuse for not doing so doesn't yield the game fundentaly changed to support a solo play style.

How did I miss the fundamentals of the game? I wasn't in a squad but I supported my team. Just because someone is in a squad doesn't mean they're actually doing anything to help. (and vice versa, I've seen plenty of people in squads that did absolutely nothing to help) I spent the majority of that match in a building with 2 friendly heavies defending against a siege trying to get capture. If you do the math, my kills and assists only account for 1300 of the 2535 WP I earned. That's only about half, so the rest of my WP were gained through resupplies, spawns on drop uplinks, repairs, revives, hacks, etc. So what led you to believe that I think of them as killstreaks? I'm a logibro so I certainly know there is more to WPs than just kills and assists.

I play 'solo' sometimes because there is simply no squads to join, the public squads are filled woth CoD 8year olds eho complain all the time, or randoms that AFK with a squad open. If i've no other choice than to solo, why should i be penalised? One match i managed to make 2480 points, and was desperately looking for WP so i could call an orbi, upon getting 2 resupplies i excitedly hit right Dpad and scrolled through. Upon spamming X for like 5 seconds though, i discovered it simply had not rewarded me and our team lost by clone count. 0-4 final score. -Newly proclaimed Lazor riffle specialist- "You said yourself fantastically 'congratulations you are all alone.'"

I do it from time to time to prove a point, that I can and will rain fire from the heavens on my enemies if I so choose to play with myself. It is far more fun usually playing with a squad though. *One Universe...with friendly fire for all!*
CLONE117 planetary retaliation organisation 472	Posted - 2013.11.13 15:57:00 - [14] - Quote ive gotten more than that..... using mlt gear. been a long while since it happened though. i just wish we could redesign orbitals. by buffing that damage so they insta kill everything including tanks. within their blast range. although that could prove problematic at some point for me if i ever decide to put m4 sp into tanks. but it would fix the survival problems. and redesigning the way they are earned. but no1 has come up with any good effective ideas on how to do it.....yet... but if u got that many wp and kills solo.well u probably didnt need the ob any ways.

I wasn't playing solo to see how I would do, I was playing solo because I didn't feel like going out and making a squad and spamming the lobby with invites. Or looking for one for that matter. Sometimes I don't feel like looking for a squad, if I get a squad invite I'll accept, but I won't go out of my way to find a squad.
