Because your matches turn out fantastic item drops for our fearless starter-fit mercs to take home. Nearly all mercs took home Ck.0 dropsuits and a full collection of proto equipment items. I personally grabbed an assault ishukone forge gun. Fun times in store for that one. Everyone basically went far positive on item drops alone.
Bring on that secondary market so we can sell this stuff back to you guys at a mark-up.

The disparity between clone pack cost to item drop value is so astoundingly large. It's just the principal of farming items from PC matches that I love so much!!!

Nope, many of these people are rich on their mains and simply using their alts on this corp to troll PC. Like Jadu said, it's the principal of turning this game into Farmville 514 that it's worth the barrel of laughs and battle experience.
