CCP leaving the AR's and various other balance issues on the table for too long is anemic to this life of this game.

The solution to your "problem" with NPE is that CCP must do the following: ~Give access to the full array of militia weapons and suits (laser, HMG, mass driver). ~Create a preset suit for each militia weapon (like we have no for some) ~Prompt the player to Select one of the suits, explaining the weapon attached to it while they look I~nform the player that each suit has different weapons and that to switch pre-set suits to another weapon, simply do ___ before respawning. Noobs unfamiliar with the game interface will default to AR if it is given to them without asking, and will keep using it if they don't know how to switch. They may get upset if it does not make them feel like a god, but then they can swap around to other weapons and learn the benefits of each.
