I"m actually typing up what I think to be the solution as we speak, will be posting it up tonight, and will be needing help to keep it active, only have the caldari and gallente scout solid though, but I finished all 4
edit:

I just went 28-6 in an advanced gallente light frame suit and a standard breach shotgun + toxin sub machine gun. The only thing lights/scouts need is better CPU/PG and more speed.
then you played against retards because most competitive matches don't have people hitting those numbers

Your kdr ratio is not 20, we all have good games or good games streaks, I've even beaten those numbers and have taken pics as well, but they not the norm. So lets not play dumb.

Also, we jump 10m high and have no fall damage. Edit: I also want the wind effect LAVs and Dropships get when moving fast while sprinting. The no fall damage -or lesser- is something I am considering as a good idea actually. If you drop an any from the top of the Empire State Building, it will survive. Scouts technically hit the ground with less force than Medium and Heavy Frames, so perhaps they should take less damage? Everything else... Unreal Tournament is that way ------> Physics don't really work that way. You are still going to fall as fast as anyone else, and your smaller body means it takes less kinetic energy to break it. Just because a brick is smaller and lighter than a cinderblock doesn't mean it doesn't break when you drop it 30m onto concrete like a cinderblock would. But falling from really high up isn't even dangerous in Dust anyway, because we have Inertia Dampeners. Reduced falling damage would be a way to set light frames apart though and give them something only they can have.might frames need something that they can do, but nobody else can. WRONG! Physics do work that way! F=MA (Force = Mass x Acceleration) If you have less mass (Scout suit) you have less Force(Impact) if the Acceleration is constant(gravity). This is why throwing an any off the Empire state Building can't kill the ant. Because F=.00000000001g x 9.81m^2 = NOT ENOUGH FORCE TO KILL THE ANT! But this is a fictional video game, so we can stretch it a little. Less fall damage for scouts, maybe on a percentage scale. Its not fair that a Heavy can fall out of the MCC and survive, but a scout can't! Science wins again! Yay for Issac Newton! Did you know that 1Kg x 1m^2 equal one Newton? To have a unti of measurement named after you must be something neat
I think the easiest way to explain it would be to try jumping off of a 10 foot ledge, then try it while holding 50 lbs weights, and see what hurts more

We're talking PC here, not a freaking pub match....
If this was the case then why was stating your one match of 20-1 relevant to the discussion of whether scouts needing a buff or not.

Gunmouse wrote: Becasue of what you said here... I gave you an example of a scout putting up high number in a PC MATCH (not an lolpubmatch) against a upper tier PC corp, making what you responded with in that post bogus. Unless you're calling RedStars PC team "retards" and classify going 20-1 as not "hitting those numbers"
So again by this logic, scouts do not need anything besides a slight cpu/pg increase because you can run a match like that?
Listing a good match does not somehow negate whether the scout needs a buff or not, overall relative performance and utility does. Yet listing a 26/4 or 20/1 match somehow negates any overarching trends.
By the very same logic if someone uses the laser rifle user goes 20/1 and another person uses ar goes 20/1, are you going to tell me that the weapons are well balanced and have their own secured utility based on this alone?

shouldn't scouts be sniping...
Its easier to snipe when you can eat a counter snipe, also damage mods (thus cpu/pg) are vastly important, thus due to these weaknesses most scout snipers are rolling snipers and not sitting/perched snipers.
The main advantage to scout sniping is being able to avoid cqc weapons sneaking up on you, most people physically spot snipers as most are out of range of active scanners anyways. But the relative disadvantages outweigh the advantages.
