CCP, buff this weapon so it has a bit more range, its really annoying being 40m from your enemy proto tac ar and 2 dmg mods doing like 40 dmg..

The AR is suppose to be a CQC minded weapon. If you desire a longer range weapon, use the Scrambler Rifle.

are you fking stupid?? im not asking for a increase in DMG and rate of fire. im asking for the rifle to be tactical like it's suppose to be, the rage at which the current TAR preform at is not good enough because a AR can out preform it at its range.

the tac ar and burst ar for that matter are both supposed to have longer effective ranges and be able to deal higher effective dmg at those ranges than the standard ar of course that is not so...the breach ar is also supposed to be able to trump the standard ar in closer combat ...of course that is not so either....the assault rifle is kinda like the swarm launcher no one uses anything other than standard because ccp doesnt seem to understand how to add real class differences to different weapons |

im asking for a range buff to the tac ar, it's really annoying getting out gunned by a duvolle at my tar's effective range.

Because the weapon is very good for getting head shots. A higher magnification is useful for getting more precise shots.
Also stop typing **** every sentence, it is immature and makes you look ignorant. By the way if you are going to post the word ****, at least post the full word; grammar, do you even?

Yes Sir. Also, it's really difficult to get head shots with a TAR. You Duvolle noobs dont need head shots to kill in half a second then why should we?

If you want to use a Tactical Rifle, use the ACTUAL TACTICAL RIFLE. Namely, the Scrambler Rifle. The only reason the AR has all four rifle types, and in fact IS called the AR, is because it came out first. They probably won't remove the variants when they add in Combat and Rail Rifles, but you should expect that they will be far superior to the Blaster Rifle's Burst and Breach counterparts, as it should be,

I use the GK Burst Rifle you dunce, I am not even skilled into the Duvolle.

It's blaster tech and is not supposed to be effective at range.
The TAC is a ghetto version of the scrambler rifle for people who are too lazy to spend points into scrambler rifles.
It is supposed to be inferior. |

Perhaps they can out perform you, but I am not so brush. It may implore you to know that not everybody is as lackluster with their handling of these rifles.
I do not use them because they are easy; I use them because they are hard.
It is gruelling, though, one can master all three of these weapons by working hard and dedication. If you do not posses these traits, then do not complain about the difficulty.

Are you new here? The TacAR was already buffed for a reason... Its still very deadly in this game, and if in the right hands, will out do almost anything. The problem doesn't lie in the gun anymore, it lies within the user. |

yes, its deadly to 3 shot milita suits who die before they know it, its not deadly when you attack a proto suit at 60m range- they have **** ton of hp so the survive and they look back to see me and turn me into dust with duvolle becuase duvolle can out preform the TAR at the TAR range.

Are you stupid? This is balance. Is it balanced that people who specialize into Blaster Rifles get to have all four rifles at once with no further SP investment? You're hopelessly biased towards your preferred weapon. If you want to use a tactical Rifle, use a Scrambler. Use a Blaster Rifle for Assault. Combat for Burst, and Rail for Breach. This is balanced and fair, as you have to spec into each to get their specific roll on the battlefield, not just pour your SP into the one and only true path.
