How is it not fair? Everyone gets one free one. Then every 12 months you have the option to buy one. Everyone has this option so it is a choice to do it or not.... Everyone gets the same thing, how is this not fair. (Although I would shorten the time from 12 months to 1 month personally).

IceShifter Childhaspawn wrote:I like the idea of the SP Drain booster. You apply it to a particular branch of your skill tree, which immediately becomes disabled, and the SP is refunded over a week or 2. Respecs are fine as long as there is no FOTM to worry about. I found it a hassle to redo ALL of the core skills again, when all I wanted to reset were my previously good, then nerfed, weapons.
Though I wouldn't mind regain some the SP I have spent on vehicles or drop suits.
Unfortunately level 5 in one skill does not equal the same number of SP as level 5 in another skill (due to training point multipliers on more complex skills). So for this idea to work it would instead have to be based on SP per hour (or SP per tick like the passive gain is). This would mean having to keep track of partially trained skills (like in EVE Online) however there is currently no mechanism for doing so in DUST as you can only train a skill level in whole or not - no partials.
So unless they want to revamp the skill training in DUST to be able to accommodate partially trained skills, this idea isn't going to work.
It's a really good idea, but it won't work under current mechanics. 8(

He accounted for that by saying they get theirs at 5 million SP... Thus blueberries get em too... and at a point where they would need it.
