Hi,
my suggestion is about equipment. No weapons, grenades et cetera.
To encourage players to use better equipment instead of milita my suggestion is to increase the amount (or the rate) of WP you get for it.
Drop-Link: Base version 25 points Prototype 30 points
Remote repair: Here I would suggest that you get warpoints at a faster rate. Why? Because at the moment someone with a slow repair module gets more war points repairing 100 hp than someone with prototype repair.
Nanohive: Hard to tell. Because prototype versions with armor reg already have a bonus here.
Scanner: No idea. Never used that.
Revive: Base version 60 Protoversion 100
Remotes: Yes they are equipment but I do not think they need a buff.
Just ideas. And maybe the numbers are not the best but I think everyone got the point. |

You're spot on with Revives. Hardly anyone uses a proto injector because you get more WPs from using a Militia which heals only 40%, then Repping them to 100%. Uplinks, I'd leave alone, due to the fact that most proto uplinks are spammed in the hopes that people will use them, turning them into a WP farm.
Nanohives.. I'd say if you resupply them a bit faster, maybe a slight bonus, but the armor rep nanohives should be fine as they are.
Repair tools definitely need an overhaul for WP. Have them grant 50 WP for every 25% of the target's MAXIMUM armor they heal, perhaps? (I.E. A guy with 1000 armor is down to 100. A proto tool comes in and starts repping him, getting 50 wp for when the target hits 250, 500, 750, and 1000 again.)

Its always really amusing so see how people play these days for the reward, say WP, SP, ISK... instead of just the fun...

Good points.

The only problem I see with your repair tool suggestion is that the time it takes to heal a heavy won't be worth as much as the time it takes to heal a scout. I think WPs should be based on how much you heal.

We used to get this request once a month or so on these forums.
Since they added the meager benefits for blowing up equipment, although the +1 to the Squad Leader is funny as all get out, we are getting at least one a week about more WP for advanced gear.
Well, it doesn't work that way. Never has and I seriously doubt if it ever will. The WP is capped for Logi services, indeed all equipment services so all your suggestion would result in would be getting is capped faster. There would be no actual increase in WP earned.
CCP/Shanghai has definite goals on who can do what, how much WP they can earn and exactly how someone is to play the game.
Hint, your way ain't it.
Bad news is coming, look at 1.7 vehicle changes. That explains clearly that CCP/Shanghai want players to toe the line, if not they will take away the tanks and their functionality. Fun. Ah ... no. |

I believe the logi cap was removed when the new WP cap was implemented.
Drop Uplinks often net me over 2000 WP in a game, no change needed.
Repair tools already give you WP more often for using better versions. If anything is needed it would be WP earned based on a running tally of armor repaired(so that you get some WP eventually for healing small amounts of armor on several suits).
Nanohives don't need a bonus to triage points as they're already given based on armor repaired. I'm not sure how resupplies work but if they don't give points based on amount resupplied they should be.
Scanners might be worth looking at but not on an equipment based bonus. Maybe 10 for heavy frames, 15 for medium frames, and 20 for light frames(based on how difficult a suit is to scan).
Revives need work most of all. I would suggest you get as set amount of WP for the revive(10 or 15), but also get triage points based on how much armor is repaired as well. |

Drop Uplinks often net me over 2000 WP in a game, no change needed. -- snip -- Drop Unlinks were never included in the WP cap for Logi, BTW. So their use has been spammed beyond reasonable measure. It is common to find a upwards of a dozen uplinks in the same location these days. Of course, if they are all from you that might well explain your massive totals. Unless your are talking PC battles, I have never seen numbers as high as your claim. I mostly play Skirmish with an occasional FW if others are leading.
As for the rest it is not true, fellow Merc. Otherwise I would top the results with 3000+ per match like I used to in Beta. I routinely beat all the Logis while running Tanks or Forge Gunning.
Try reviving four downers quickly. Two will count, that is all. Or just repair my Heavy when I am down to 50 armor. Trust me that 750 HP you restore will stop popping up +25 Triage very quickly. True the better tools will pop each of them quicker, but it is still capped.
No Dev has stated it would come back. I would bet they never will. The run and gun crowd successfully got them limited and their QQ still drives DUST.

Static nanohive resupply points are fine- higher level hives have more capacity and multiple deployment, which = more WP per nanohive/fitting than standard gear. Drop uplinks benefit in the same way as nanohives- more spawns per unit + multiple deployment = more WP. Rep tools, others have explained- you get points for amount of armor repped, compare videos of someone using a core focused vs someone using a militia one, and you'll see the massive difference in rate. Scanners: longer scan effect and better precision = more scan assists and therefore more WP.
The effects you want are already basically in the game, except for the injector. No buffs needed. |

I tend to drop 2 uplinks near each objective in safe places and depending on how my team is playing the +25s roll in(the more they die the more points I get although usually nothing for the first few minutes).
I haven't used the injector nor the repair tool for a while(their slots being taken by the scanner and remote explosives - a habit formed in PC). Thanks for the correction.
It's still possible to get huge WP as logistics if you work the system a bit. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P9OUEQFfao0 |

Equipment earnings are currently broken when it comes to internal scaling of the line. This has been the case for quite awhile, for more on the subject please consult this thread which I started during closed beta.
