Three times tonight, my Swarm Launcher (both CBR-7 and Wiyrkomi) fired a half barrage when I reloaded.
It didn't use any ammo and the rockets never actually spawned, but I had about half of a firing animation while the SL was swung around in front of my face.
I'm not sure if anyone else saw it, or if it's just in my field of view.
It doesn't seem to be a major issue, but it is disconcerting.

That why you keep your fingers away from the trigger unless you have a target in your sights.
Seriously though, I think its lag related. Seems to happen more in laggy matches than not. Other than that Ive only seen the animation, might have actually fired the missiles once or twice. |

This has happened since chromosome. My bug report from several months ago still sits unfiltered(in fact all of my bug reports sit unfiltered). |

Definitely reloading-related; I recall it happening often when the magazine hits empty, which is obviously when you reload.

I get this bug moderately... but I always wonder why I see far less rockets when it happen in the volley. I usualy do 2 volleys at turret (enough to kill it) and reload... When you close to the turret and seccond volley just land on it... some rocket 'miss' object (it is already dead) but they are still active and gliched with your launcher (they loose position and back to default by reload). So ... :) your game still drawing it for best that it can :)

To reproduce Lock on target. Shoot full clip. Reload. 50% of the time will fire randomly.
They call me the C.L.I.T commander.

This is a fairly frequent bug. If memory serves it's existed since at least 1.4.
I support SP rollover.

I have seen this bug as well. It's like half a volley is fired at the location of the last target when you begin the reload animation. I agree it may have something to do with dropping a lock or the target dying prior to the swarms impacting. |
