Seriously.....CCP has no plans or intentions on converting to the PS4. That worries me because it touches on the common sense of the people who are building this game. There are 80M PS3's out there because the PS4 has not yet been released. The PS4 is debuting at only $399...that is less than new model cellphones when they hit the market. Why does CCP think that people won't buy the PS4? How many people still play on their PS2's?? The PS3 is going to be a dead system in a matter of months and CCP has a few years plan on it? That worries me because how do they not see that pushing for the PS3 is a fail idea? As much as I enjoy dust.....no way will I be unhooking my PS4 and then hooking up my PS3 for a pc match or to cap each week. I won't be getting the PS4 at launch but it won't be too long after that. I'm not going to be going through that trouble of switching systems just to log onto dust. I already have too much congestion with my pc, ps3, Hauppauge, cell phone charger, internet router, etc. I have to use two extension cords......something will give.

Everyone has a budget of what they could spend for entertainment. If real world responsibilities are that much of a burden, then spending any sort of money on a free game is backwards. Who goes out to purchase a PS3 if paying bills and making sure our children are fed are that much of an issue? Yet...here we all are. Those that can afford the PS4 will most likely buy it and those that can't will not get it so early. Either way, point is dust's playerbase isn't likely to increase if they have no intention on going to the PS4.

Ps4 is simply slightly upgraded glorified ps3. Games wont be running 60fps locked and graphics will be similar. Look at killzone 3 then killzone 4, even killzone 2. As far as dust goes, it wouldnt change at all on the ps4. Its not made for the ps4. It would be "ported" = same game different platform. Same engine, same devs, same developement process, same playerbase. KZ4 looks interesting...and I definitely wont be playing BF4 on the PS3 when I can play 32v32 on the PS4.
