I was in a match last night against a Protosquad. Our squad leader was the most clueless person ever.
He was a nice guy, and was all about having fun, but I face-palmed about every 45 seconds when he spoke or did something...
The highlight was when we got an Orbital and we told him drop that f*cker on the Objective, they are all camping on it... his reply was "okay, just hold on a second, i wanna send this text message... I'll drop in a little bit..."
a few minutes later we asked him if he wouldn't mind helping us out with the orbital, because we just couldn't break through. His reply was "what was that? I'm on the phone right now? something about an Orbital Strike?"
He did drop it eventually when all hope was already lost and we were on our way to a second one. He got 6 kills with both of them. His final score, 12/21, lol.
I honestly think that before you enter a match, even the so-called Academy the game should put up a prompt telling you to STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING! And force tutorials about Squad finder and game abilities.
At least he was happy to die in the game. But eventually, he'll move on because the skill curve is to wide already. Anyone who joined since Uprising is probably gone from the game, or steeped into pure madness rocking back n forth pulling their hair out. |
