TL;DR - Can anyone recall any event/point since April this year where after they had to re-activate passive SP training on their Dust character?
Hi all,
I'm an Australian currently on holiday in Europe, a very extensive backpacking/hostelling holiday that's lasted six months so far. (Kicked off the tour with EvE FanFest back in April)
Obviously I haven't been able to log into dust and play in that time because, well funny thing, I don't carry a PS3 around in my pack like I do a laptop. (Gee, it sure would be neat if this game was on PC...)
My question is whether there's been any event in the last six months that might have caused my character to cease accruing his daily passive SP? You know how you have to select one of your three alts and "activate" passive SP accrual. Something most of us will only do once then forget about.
I recall at some point in the past, I think it might have been the last SP reset at the start of the year, I had to re-activate training on my character after the purge.
Reading some things recently about the uprising release and a refund of SP after racial drop suits were released, I've now got this dreaded feeling in my gut that passive training was paused at some point and hasn't been (for me) restarted, meaning I'll be six months+ behind when I can eventually lay hands to a console with Dust installed to check.
I've asked some EvE friends for help but hey, stunning reveal, of the 12 or so IRL friends I know who play EvE already and who I'd trust with a password, not one of them even owns a PS3. Gee, it sure would be neat if this game was on PC...
Also viewing characters in the Dust portal doesn't seem to give you any of the stats like the EvE portal. Not even current total SP.

only happened that once
however i would activate passive on an alt and then back to your main and see if you gain any back
if not you can always start a support ticket to confirm it |

Hey,
I was in Japan for about 5 months and I was okay for passive gain.
Its possible the last big respec stoped it if you where away from that, back then i did hear of a few people not getting passive points briefly.
Best option, while I am unsure you would get the points back that you would have otherwise gotten passivly, is to submit a support ticket.
You can either do this by emailing [email protected] or by logging in to www.dust514.com and reporting it on there through the web browser.

I never had to reactivate mine. Hope your still getting your passive sp. o7
I gave all my isk to Lady Killington and she is giving it away to a few lucky mercs!
Message her for more info!
