I'm not going to armchair balance a good weapon. I would rather the bad weapons be brought up to par.
I'm just saying, switching from HMG to SCR may prevent unnecessary suicides. |

I think it has to do with the long term range profiles of the rifles as a whole class.
I don't know how they are going to work it all out, because it looks like it is already getting way too messy to be serviceable. I imagine that once the next two rifles drop you can expect a whole lot of chaos for a couple of patches while they swing the dials a few times.

Played heavy for a year, pro HMG and Forge
invested in Gallente Adv Logi and a GEK AR yesterday
Yeah this **** is ezmode compared to the fat life these days lol. Never seen dots drop so fast at all ranges.
Can only imagine proto with a duvolle

At a close range where my Boundless can hit. In an ambush tonight ReGnYum did a bunny hop and killed my Dren Sentinel (complex plate and max buffer skills) before his feet touched the ground again. Final shot wasn't even a head-shot. I had to choose clone termination.
I had recently re-pawned and the map features almost guaranteed he was the sole source of damage. He blew past a corner so I started to light him up. He turned, hopped, and it was over.
It was the Imperial ScR.

Ive seen the light!
The light in form an assault ScR that is. Oh, god its good to be a heavy again, and its also super fun to play dust now.
Now i actually can shoot at people i see, and very often they die too!
I feel like a new man.
And what about your HMG you ask? Well its on an auto piloted shuttle with coordinates to the center of the sun, That evil troll weapon i only want too see in the tired arms of my scorched enemies.
