The revive system is in need of some vast improvements. Too many people exploit this and ultimately feed the other team WP without knowing it. A proto needle is a rare sight on the battlefield and makes the difference in game types where clone types matter like ambush and domination. Here is a list of suggestions to improve our current system.
1. Accept or deny revive -avoids repeated deaths and unknowing/knowing exploits for WP
2 Different level needles show in different colors on the mini map (red for std/militia, yellow for advanced, and green for proto) -if a clone has been downed and is under moderate fire then a standard needle is not worth waiting for only to be downed instantly, while a proto needle works in this same situation.
3. Make the WP for revive based upon the amount of percentage armor upon the revive (30 for std/militia, 50 for advanced, and 80 for proto) -encourage people to drop the rusty needle and carry a good one for once. You get WP based off of the amount of armor repaired w/ hives or reps, so why not base the same off of a revive?
4. Bonuses for WP received after the person has been revived (% for up to one minute, % increases per level of needle) -thinking about the clone you just revived should rewarded. If you get him back at 80% armor and then he kills a person or two you should get some WP. Perhaps this bonus would increase as the level of needle increases.
5. Priority of needles -If I am right next to a gallente assault suit and some joker with a militia needle runs up to him to get his cheap 60 WP, I should have a better shot since I actually skilled into my equipment. Perhaps a timer of some sort that allows the better needle a shot at reviving the clone before the rusty needle carrying free suit gives the other team 100 WP. Any ideas on this?
List your feedback, good or bad. Even if you disagree with everything, JUST KEEP YOUR RUSTY STD NEEDLE AWAY FROM PEOPLE!

I would love to see my maxed out Madrugar have a proper role, but new content seems to be quite troublesome for them to release. Fixing things like the revive mechanics, triage, TTK, and other things does not require a massive content release. |

one thing I really wish for with the proto needle is it brought you back to full health 100% shield and armor Well, a faction LP for the Caldari will be a 100% armor repair needle. Logi Bro confirmed this. |

I came on to the forums to post practically the exact same thing.
The revive acceptance can be easily implemented by forcing people to call for help to be revived.
And I only use STD needles when I have my ADV rep tool on. (But usually I carry both)
I do also believe that we should get additional WP based on the needle we used to revive. (i.e. 60 WP for STD 70 WP for ADV & 80 WP for PRO). I suggested what I did because 60 wp is simply too much for a needle that does nothing but feed the other team WP and requires no SP to use. 30 is more appropriate for how much your revive may or may not help the team. |

I care about winning, not having a high KDR. I didn't mention KDR. basic and miltia needles have a 10-20% revive success ratio from my experience, while proto needles almost have a 70% and up success ratio. Stop being greedy and care about your teamates for once. |

List your feedback, good or bad. Even if you disagree with everything, JUST KEEP YOUR RUSTY STD NEEDLE AWAY FROM PEOPLE! so long as my suit is adv o higher i carry proto injectors so i know you want me to stick you xD TY! There needs to be more people carrying proto needles and there should definitely be WP difference between a STD and proto revive. |

There needs to be more people carrying proto needles and there should definitely be WP difference between a STD and proto revive. i think they should adjust the healing provided stat to track proto logi gear use and give more wp for using proto not less...with reppers at least you get more wp for using lower end gear and that is not ok..a good way to fix this and give incentives for using higher end logi gear is to make the healing given stat track all hp provided from injectors reppers and nanos and then have that stat buff end battle rewards or something so if i spam the crap out of healing gear over weapons and use high end injectors that number goes up the higher the number the more isk logi's should make I agree, but then again there are the exploiters who will be cooking locus grenades in the back on their heavy suits while their buddy repairs them with a core focused repair tool. Damn exploiters. This is why we can't have nice things. Damage dealt goes right along with this. We used to have it, but I cannot comment since I only started playing at the beginning of Chromosome. |

Stop being greedy and care about your teamates for once. I use advanced needles at minimum. If its about winning you wouldn't need to know or care about the injector's strength, some chance at life is better than none. Maybe its not the case for you, but 90% when someone is complaining about nanite injectors their problem is that their mighty KDR suffered a little bit in a match because someone revived them and they died right away. Sorry, but I am getting sick of the entitlement other players feel regarding logibros on these forums. People don't want us to be able to kill, but get pissed if you revive them during a firefight as one example That boils down to the skill of the logi, assault, and what they are in it for. I could carry a std needle and rep back the rest and get even more WP, leaving them with only 30% armor upon the revive which means they will probably die. I could also throw out nanohives everywhere and just revive them with 80% of their armor, which is enough until they step into the hives and become replenished on ammo and health.
While I agree it is selfish, they have a point. Just a really selfish, and entitled point. |
