Not in favor of this at all. OB mechanics and WP accrual tie is working very well...I don't see any driving reason to change. As to it being a cheap kill streak...it's neither cheep nor a kill streak.
The average full squad will earn one about half way thru a match - takes time and some consistent effort. I don't call it a kill streak, it's simply an strike weapon that works on exposed targets. Quite a few maps have critical areas under cover as well.
I don't see the need for an extended warning either...that's kind of the point of the orbital. Once you hit a certain point in a match you should pretty much expect that if you are a) multiple guys taking an objective, b) multiple guys defending a game changing objective, or c) my personal fav, a particular offensive sniper, forger, or tank you are prime candidate to get splashed by the Proto God Laser. |

Pretty much...first time you see the tactical strike form an EVE player you'll see the difference. 8 shots, not the 6 from the warbarge. The EVE pilot can also use different weapon load outs for different effect. |

They might as well turn them off when they turn friendly fire on. There is no use for them thanks as many negative points from kills as actual kills and it cleans your whole team out as well.
I think it will be a pretty incredible forcing function for team coms and cooperation. Also means I'm probably not hitting a FW match unless I have at least two ally squads synch'd in. |

5000 WP. Every member of the squad gets +10 WP instead of the Squad Leader getting free WPs & Kills for the squad putting in work.
Not sure I'm following you. Every WP gained in the squad, no matter how you got them counts. Full squads that are working together are incentivized by gaining orbitals...sounds like a good thing to me. 2500 works...no compelling reason to change.
Do you mean every squad members gets some WP and kill assists from the OB strike? I do like that idea...pretty smart. |

The current standard 2500 WP to call an OB was implemented when we only had 4 man squads. There were no WPs for Equipment Destruction, Repping(?), Scanning, etc. 5000 is more than reasonable. That's less <850 WP average per squad member to call 1 OB in a match. Most full squads should still be able to drop at least 2. And Yes, every member of the squad should get a +10 WP Assist per Orbital kill, not the squad leader reaping all of the benefits of the work that 5 other people put in.
Good points about evolution of the game and WP generation. I could see bringing it to 3000 to 3500 per orbital...maybe.
I actually would increase the orbital assist to 15pts per kill, 2pts per equipment.
