CCP, is there a way to stop the WP boosting?
As usual, I was just in a match where the game was pretty much empty, except my squad and 1 squad ont eh other side. 6v6... 3 minutes into the game, before any shots were fired, an Orbital Strike came raining down. I know for a fact that Nyain San does this too.
Do you want people to boost, or did you not think of that when you made this game and countelss times you were told about it on these forums...? |

Awwwh when I saw "boosting" the immediate thought the kind done for profit and KDR. Not Orbital farming. We need to use this opportunity to end the scourge of free orbitals once and for all. Much like how massive road killing help to finally do in that insidious Militia LAV BPO.

I can usually earn our team an orbital before the shields of the MCC are at 3/4...but I have to actually be destroying things or giving my logi love out to people in combat.
It's sad that people feel the need to do this.

If done correctly you can earn 90% of a orbi with 5 kills from another orbi.
Does that count as farming?

They're exploiting nanohives, rep tools and the like. Basically, just get rid of orbitals in public matches and offer improved salvage rewards for squads that reach the total WP that would have been used for the orbital instead. Or something. There's no reason to have such a ridiculous, even if it's fun, AOE in public matches. |

Oh you mean the reason Dropships can't get MCRU points? Because it might be exploited?
Nice try CCP, why the heck would anyone spent the isk for a dropship and wait for their team mates to die to get a couple hundred WP when they can happily exploit nanohives and uplinks at no personal risk at all?
All right from the cozy comfort of the ground.
The real reason dropships haven't gotten MCRU points yet?
CCP doesn't want anyone flying them. |

Yeah, I never really understood the lack of WP for something like that. It took a while to introduce counter-hacking and equipment destruction, so MCRU should be on the list. I hope. |
