The assaults are strong as ever
Automatic weapons with AA are dominating the battlefield more than explosives, even. (MD reign of terror was short lived)
The Gallente mediums have replaced the CA Logi as fotm suit.
Duvolle is the best gun by a lot. Heavies have even replaced their trusty HMG with it.
Heavies are making a come back and are actually scaring everyone except the duvolle-wielding brick tanked medium suits.
Since the scout scan buff and shotgun fix (big one), scouts have been a lot more common and are killing the heavies like they used to, but the Duvolle still literally 4-shots them.
Flux grenades are largely viewed as useless.
Tanks are almost never spawned in pubs, anymore, because everybody and their mother has some form of prototype av by now, so the whole idea of being an "AV specialist" is dead because there are no tanks left to kill, LAVs automatically explode, LLAVs still can't be killed, and dropships are usually piloted by newberries who can't make it off the ground.
I'm noticing a lot of new players sticking around for more than a day, now. This may be because of the new player experience improvements.
Matches are, on average, less one-sided as long as it isn't Wednesday or Thursday.
Optimism about 1.7 is pretty high. People are excited about the new content., as we've been begging for it for some time.
TAR is barely used anymore.
Breach AR seems to be making its highest level of popularity since the beta and the burst isn't be ignored, either.
Forge guns don't seem to be quite as annoying as they used to be, but good forgers still are just as effective.
Rendering still sucks.
Scotty still sucks.
All in all, if I had to rate this game in Chrome, I would've said 7.2/10. In 1.0, it was 4.0/10. 1.4 was a 1/10, and 1.6 has been a 7.0/10. We're getting back to where we used to be and that's good.
As long as tanks aren't ****** up and the sixkin CR isnt as op as i predict it to be, i predict this game will be finally starting to improve on what it was in chrome.
