The Thale just needs it's scope and range brought down to line up with the normal snipers, The problem of the Thale is it can fire from out of the rendering range of everything else.

I like the "nerf it's scope" , "nerf the redline" posts......10/10 you guys are ****.

1/30 Thales snipers are actually in a very good place, usually easy kills. I have even RE'd a few, triggered then redline suicided a few of them.
People need to understand all CCP have done on this game for snipers is:
-Created weird rendering issues, Including people disappearing into walls, stairs etc
-Hit detection issues, a lot of shield flares.
-Increased over all eHP across the board
-Decreased damage to shields ( your 1st hit)
-Decreased headshot damage, a head shot is supossed to be a snipers failsafe, on dust with an ADV sniper it can take 3 head shots to get thru a heavies shield.

As for redline sniping, you have to rack up some real good scores to actually make decent WP/SP gains.
As for coming out the redline, with all the AIM BOT AR's and non stop grenade spam going on, why the **** would a sniper do that, especially with all the Active scanners. Active scanners have made this game a joke.


edit: and also a sniper is a LONG RANGED SPECIALIST, which means they will use LONG RANGE attacks to their advantage, I know this doesn't coinside with your LOGI514/ AR514/ CoreLocusSPAM514/ You have been scanned514, but HTFU?

The sniping faggtry in this game is the worst I've seen in any fps ever.

Not only is it stupidly easy and OP, you even get a nice big red area to hide in.
