I have to admit Aria, we are predisposed to being warriors, for good or ill. Agreed! Majority of the time I can't wait to sign a contract and fight. I think I love my job far too much.
Kador doesn't let me fight outside the sparring ring, and the occasional pit fight I don't tell him about. |

Oh I'm sure I could, he has never been one of those "on a leash" type masters. I prefer not to though, fighting is good enough, I'd rather fight for the Empire, but God wills and we obey.
Still I can kick Kador's ass in the ring if I can convince him to climb back in. |

During the golden age we lost 1/10 games.

She has been to the front....though never the combat zones.
I like to believe that on the battlefield you can always account for your enemy to do the same thing, try to kill you.
Off the field, enemies become many kinds of animals, ones that do not always do what you expect.

Maybe, but on the field, when hidden by the mask that is their dropsuit's helmet, enemies are capable of becoming anything. It is perhaps only because of the restrictions that CONCORD has placed on us that we have not done anything too horrible yet. If we ever break free from that we could expect animals on the battlefield and off and the very Empires we fight for may not appreciate what we do as much anymore.

I don't know about that. Our callings are all same, even if hidden by our more heroic notions....

Yes a Minmatar fighting for the Amarr Empire, how contradicting, I get that a lot.
I like Minmatar equipment-wise (weapons, dropsuits, equipment, ships, etc.), but politically and religiously I highly prefer the Amarr.

Interesting discussion, friends. Mind if I join you?
My family is from Caldari Prime and spilt down the middle with Civire blood on the Caldari side and Gallente stock on the other. I grew up in the Ishakone arcologies and very much consider myself a Liberal.
Ishakone has a program for special passes that have allowed its people to visit certain parts of Gallente space to visit family or business interests separated by the conflict. This isn't just for anyone, you have to earn it and I'm glad I've taken advantage of hue he program a couple times. I have respect and like many individuals from Gallente space, but I've seen exactly what the Federation is capable of and believe me...it's not what they tell you in their press releases.
I spent a long time in the Ishakone Watch Special Operations Directorate and Ishakone has been very good to me over the years. I've worked on loan to the Caldari Navy and I like them about as much as I like the Federation. The Ishakone corporation is by far the most liberal of the Caldari Corps. They aren't perfect by a long stretch but they've got a surprisingly open way of working their people and they are willing to entertain business arrangements with almost anyone if the action doesn't directly jeopardize Ishakone or the Caldari State.
I am actually a pretty good example of this...I was offered the opportunity to muster for a very early "retirement" to join Mordu's Legion with a pallet full of Ishakone's best weapons and dropsuits as part of CEO Reppola's vision on spreading our Dust Clone tech. There were about a hundred or so of us across Ishakone Watch that were offered the deal. Essentially we merc out but we are allowed to retain our full Ishakone corporate citizenship and even get a small retirement stipend. |

my past is indeed a colorful one, given my past status as a Trader, but currently i am contracted to Ishukone, ferrying supplies and goods to Planetary outposts belonging to the corporation. a fair wage if you ask me, although because of that i have been out of battles in a while.
Other than My Corporate citizenship, i also am able to enter gal-space outside of business interests.
