My family is from Caldari Prime and spilt down the middle with Civire blood on the Caldari side and Gallente stock on the other. I grew up in the Ishakone arcologies and very much consider myself a Liberal. Ishakone has a program for special passes that have allowed its people to visit certain parts of Gallente space to visit family or business interests separated by the conflict. This isn't just for anyone, you have to earn it and I'm glad I've taken advantage of hue he program a couple times. I have respect and like many individuals from Gallente space, but I've seen exactly what the Federation is capable of and believe me...it's not what they tell you in their press releases. I spent a long time in the Ishakone Watch Special Operations Directorate and Ishakone has been very good to me over the years. I've worked on loan to the Caldari Navy and I like them about as much as I like the Federation. The Ishakone corporation is by far the most liberal of the Caldari Corps. They aren't perfect by a long stretch but they've got a surprisingly open way of working their people and they are willing to entertain business arrangements with almost anyone if the action doesn't directly jeopardize Ishakone or the Caldari State. I am actually a pretty good example of this...I was offered the opportunity to muster for a very early "retirement" to join Mordu's Legion with a pallet full of Ishakone's best weapons and dropsuits as part of CEO Reppola's vision on spreading our Dust Clone tech. There were about a hundred or so of us across Ishakone Watch that were offered the deal. Essentially we merc out but we are allowed to retain our full Ishakone corporate citizenship and even get a small retirement stipend.
