DUST Search - CCP Please help the working man out!! (Tripple SP Event killing the working man)

'Genius 1.5x2 Active Booster' with these specialized augments which give a 50% bonus to all skill points earned upon completion of bonus qualified battles, in addition doubling the per battle consumption of Bonus Sp during battle at the cost of no additional SP bonus after bonus SP is exhausted.

If it was a true triple sp event, i'd be all over it.

That's 54 matches (I rounded up) divided by the 7 days = 8 matches (I rounded up) x 15 minutes a match = 2 hours. Lets go high and say 14k per match, right? That's 43 matches (I rounded up again) divided by the 7 days = 7 matches (I rounded up one more time lol) x 15 minutes a match = 1.45 hours to cap out. What day is it? Friday? Played Wednesday and Thursday....I'm 310,000 left (and some change) so in 2 days I've already pulled down 280,000 or so. That's 26 matches at 11k and 20 matches at 14k. That's 5 hours of playing. 2.5 hours so far Wednesday and Thursday. I won't play tonight or tomorrow but I'll play Sunday and Monday and likely be tapped out. Say I'm not...Tuesday night of course. I just don't see how you're having a hard time. I'm not like a really good player or anything.

I would like to point out that I would have capped out in a 24 hr. period (during tripple sp week) if I had only slept during down time instead of the 2 hrs. I ended up sleeping. This means that anyone with two days off can easily cap out, and a motivated person can do it using only a 1 day booster. To answer your question: Ambushes will get you there much faster than 24 hrs but I hate them so I ran mostly skirmishes during my epic journey and on numerous occasions recieved over 20k sp (with a booster) in a single match. Even if you were only able to play an hour each day during the week and could grind a bit on the weekend you could easily cap out. Fun > Realism

Same thing for me.. after that event I didn't even bother capping out.. and mind you it's the second time I didn't cap out since I played beta. It had to do with two factors.. CCP FORCED you to play the game 3 times longer if you wanted to get the SP. If you work or have a life you get the shaft! Secondly CCP TOLD EVERYONE that the tripple sp will be calculated on warpoints so everyone decided to protostomp the hell out of that event. Playing that was a stomp fest .. and I don't know when I will return to fully capping out each week. It's not going to be this week that is for sure!

Was already kind of bummed because it wasn't a true 3x sp event and the stomping just killed any remaining desire to play. I do appreciate that CCP held the event, but the way they first announced it set people up for disappointment. Maybe I was starting to get burned out and this pushed me over the edge. Probably will take a break for while and come back in a few weeks. Great job, team. Head back to the MCC for debriefing and cocktails.

Now that we've had about 4 (?) of these events the best for me remains the "true" triple SP event, where you played the same amount and got the true triple SP. The worst was that weird double SP event where you couldn't even "see" the extra SP you accumulated until the end of the week. I hope that the December 1.7 event really is a straight up no frills triple SP event.

I was routinely in the 10-15k range but had a few as Sqd Leader really racked up the WP...25 to 30k.
