You don't add the modifiers, you multiply them.
The base is applied the your shields at 80%
The remainder is applied to your armor at 120%
Headshots are modified base damage. Thanks, good to know. Maybe you should do a forum post about it. I would love to really understand how damage is modified BTW is it? (254*1.15)*1.244 or is it 254*(1.15*1.244) ?
Does not matter in which order you multiply, multiplication is commutative in nature.

I instakilled some dude at 70 m with my scrambler rifle earler today. No headshot gong or bonus WP, just +50...
This is starting to worry me.

This is starting to worry me. I did it last night with my SCR. I knew it was a farthest shot by far for the game. So after the game, I looked what my farthest shot was; 178m... Even I was like... okay that's pushing it....
I was headshotting a guy on top a very high building consistently yesterday also. Hit detection is freaking awesome now. However the damage cannot change so drastically just because of hit detection.
