The acronym or term OP is to Dust is a show stopper, a way to hear your voice heard because you have "hurt feelings". Well, adapt, overcome and use your god damned senses. Just because someone kills you a lot with a certain gun doesn't mean it's OP.
Saying something is "OP" is an excuse to complain because you don't like the way someone is playing or because you are frustrated and have no ability to formulates a constructive argument against the other person or a game imbalance.
What have we become as a culture, that as soon as we start losing we start complaining and blaming the other guy?
"Clearly the other guy's weapon is OP because he killed me before I killed him" <---- WTF is this?
I recently saw a thread that said that "squads are OP", WHAAAT?! Now I am suppose to be punished because I play with a tight squad and we run proto gear? All because someone got ran through by a well coordinated squad? GTFO with this BS. I am suppose to be punished or nerfd because I run an AR? NO! Stop the madness!
Furthermore, most of these OP threads have little to no input on how to alleviate the problem other than "nerf it!" That is a ridiculous notion, every time you don't like a gun or a drop suit or a play style we should just nerf it to appease you.
When are we going to stand up as a community and say "tough s h i t, sit down and quit whining"! Are we just suppose to appease every ass hole who decides to complain about the game?
Hell, our society has already started that trend, I guess games are soon to follow....
