PC / PFC - No problem at all with any gear being used its for the super serious peeps
FW- With the new LP system due to be implemented again no problem as it is for the peeps who want to be immersed in new eden
Pubgames- .. Really ? ... This as well ? So where do new players go then ?..
Academy- 1200 WP and you graduate ...

It's very easy to fix this problem .. restrict gear to a particular meta lvl that prevents prototype/BPO's and Aurum bought gear and don;t collate K/DR / WP / Win-loss ratio

We all know 99% of the people who protostomp do so to pad their stats in easy gamemodes where they are against players with a fraction of their sp and they outgear and outdamage them so I propose you do this

RESET THE LEADERBOARDS as punishment for all the months of protostomping to boost stats AND then do not track stats in pubgames at all .. you can go into pubgames to farm ISK/practise teamwork/test out dropsuit/vehicle fittings maybe try out a few weapons however there will be no benefit whatsoever for the current protostompers to actually run around in full proto just to pad stats like they do now

I'd love to see what the leaderboards would be like if you removed all the pubgames influences and just took into account FW and PC ... let's face it right now the leaderboards are just a list of who the biggest douchebags are ..

you are correct, there has been a rise in the number of proto stomps but also the number really great matches where both teams field expensive equipment. Personally I only use proto equipment when the match is close and I see our team need a little more power to turn the match in our favor.

I recommend you, skill into heavy and forge gun, a basic heavy with a forge gun is cheap, do not require that much isk and you can practice some forge sniping against the proto squad. Skill into a cheap scout suit and run around at the etches of the fighting to avoid the proto squad whom usually stick together in a blob

Avoid ambush matches, these are the most proto infected matches. Pick skirmish, the proto are rare here and it is easier to avoid the proto blob, get points by hacking etc.

I'm 4 months in and still getting protostomped constantly (I'm a logi who actually uses equipment and equipment costs alot of SP so I don;t have a proto suit yet) and If I could go back and tell myself what it would be liek nearly 4 months later I;d have gone .. to hell with that i'll go play something else

You have no idea just how terrible this game has been for me ... I've had no respite from the protostomping at all for 4 months and the past 2 days have taken it to a whole new level and I honestly am in the mindset now that if we don;t get a full respec in 1.7 so i can ditch the logi and put all the sp into assault and go proto then i'm out of here because I'm not going to spend another 2 months getting protostomped every game before I can play on a level playing field

I spent the majority of yesterday in my full BPO Dren Logistics, standard AR and militia fittings. I died a bit more but tended to be near the top for WP. Unless I pulled out my sniper fit and then I was horrid and useless.

Heh. I deleted all my fits and will rebuild everything BPO.
