the laser bonus applies in full to scrambler weaponry. sometimes testing it is a bit wonky due to the fact that heat is applied per second, so the faster you pull the trigger the more shots you can get off before OH.
the laser spec bonus is the best bonus in the game. Caldari get an extra 6 hp off of complex shield extenders after >2 million sp. The gallente assault can shave 12.5 cpu and 3.25 off of a duvolle (which is less than the native cpu/pg boost the amarr suit naturally has) So the Amarr bonus wins handily in my book.
Minnie assault is underrated, though. a good sidearm is really useful. |

Minnie assault is underrated, though. a good sidearm is really useful. Per second? How do you figure that? I always thought that the heat build up was dependant on the amount of charge per shot.
I started really counting my shots and I noticed that there was a bit of wiggle room before I started overheating. sometimes I would OH at 8 shots after the charge - other times much higher.
The stats of the gun also states heat per second which in light of the fact I'm able to get more shots in before OH if It fire faster it doesn't seem like a typo but in fact the ScR heats up per second. |

There's a few variables, but the short answer is you'll really never OH again. If you pace it right, that is.
Oh, and Amarr assault 5 and scrambler 5 means you can never oh no matter how many charge shots you use in a row. Once you figure out how many regular shots you can put in between charges you'll do crazy amounts of damage. |
