Why isnt there a interactive battle tutorial, tutorial promts or tutorial level in battle for new players to play to learn at their own pace? i just got done walking my neighbor though battle academy, where to go,what to do,why the letter was blinking,what this or that was and every other little detail CCP seems to forget newplayers need to know. At least have a outside voice telling them what stuff is once they interact with it or to protect a point like in Domination.Battle academy from an outside point of view does nothing to show players how to play the game,ZERO ,it's so hard to even watch them play their first game without giggling inside.
I hope he keeps playing i really do but as for now ill keep examining his experience.

Just made a new character and played through battle academy in 2 games. I was then immediately placed in a round with Players in complete proto gear.
Seems the only way to play balanced matches is start a new character everyday and only play battle academy. |

The only reason i dont go proto is cause I'll loose about 5 mil isk a match playing proto suits cause im a $hit player |

I absolutely loved the tutorial system they recently introduced, its just a shame it concluded after the first match. I think it should have more GÇ£levelsGÇ¥ all the way through the academy and once you finish the tutorial this then drops you into the deep end.
At least new players will have some idea how to play out a Domination or Faction Warfare for example. It should also include that being in a squad is VERY important and can often turn the tide in a contract over the other team if no one is in a squad.
So many times have I played in FW where my squad is the only squad. I mean fair enough if all those people can get an orbital on their own! |

This is why there needs to be some sort of PVE so that players can go at their own pace. Currently it's the EVE equivilent of throwing you into null sec after the initial tutorial. Yeah, a trial by fire is a great way to learn, but free to play means not only are you more likely to try it, but your more likely to give up the second you stop enjoying it since you haven't invested anything into the game yet.
The Ellecon's come from a long line of Gallente. Tarn chose Peace. Tallen chose war.
