I dunno why i mostly was playing with AR. Maybe bec all used it, maybe bec i started game with it. Was trying SR before 1.4. Tried it now and.. its awesome. Its giving the feelling you play game about future. It cuts ppl like a hot knife cuts butter. Soo cool. And its more fun when you must learn to shoot with your gun. |

yes the scrambler rifle Is definitely a marksman rifle that retains the fun of using rifles in general. i have been stung by those blistering beams of energy and It leaves me bleeding to cover.

Yeah if anything, the Amarr know how to make their weapons look good whilst killing.
But I've gotta say currently I'm infatuated with PC projectiles. That swirling beam looks amazing. I haven't been fortunate enough to be in a game with a bunch of plasma cannoneers though, but I would imagine it would look incredible.
Whoever worked on the graphical side of the plasma cannon, kudos!

It took some degree of skill to use once. As of 1.6, though, it's probably overpowered.

As far as the single shot scr go if it has any kind of damage nerf, then they will have to decrease the heat build up and allow more shots, I think some forget what happens when you miss a charge shot. Here's a reminder, a guy is coming up on me I let him get kinda close, I miss charge shot and guess whats next.
No doubt about it i'm dead, once I release the charge shot I can only fire a few more regular shots and then I overheat, which means I cant switch weapons, cant throw a nade, and I cant run away just sitting there completely helpless. The only way I can have any chance if I miss the charge shot is, with help from teamates, or fire 1 or 2 follow up shots then immediately switch weapons before over heat.
Missing the charge shot with an ememy close or enclosing, very easily results in death, the amarr assault suit may allow you to still kill after a missed charge tbh I dont know bc I dont have one. The bottom line its hard to say the scr is op, when it often can leave you defenseless and unable to kill, and I urge you to use extreme caution and awareness when handling one.
When your playing dust and your frustrated...if all else fails...turn off the ps3 works every time.
