The Gallente put a much higher premium on life and so they're more likely to try and keep clones alive. The Caldari are all about profit and it's much cheaper to revive a dying clone than to use a new one. 'Insert witty signature here'

I've heard of Caldari producing Minmatar Equipment but not the other way around. I think this is a classic case of CCP thinking "These DUST players don't know lore, let's just put these names on anything" but yes, the Nanite injector looks incredibly Gallentean in design, it has smooth, curving designs, with an organic green appearance. Hmm, yep, the Nanite Injector fits all those characteristics.... The newer the berry the dumber the juice.
