Even with 2 complex damage mods my prototype breach shotgun needs to be reloaded to take down most enemies.
Is this working as inteded?
If not please fix this as soon as possible.

When was the last time you got killed by a breach shotgun?
Can't remember?
That's ok.
I just think that it speaks volumes to the current state of balance in Dust 514.
Is the breach shotgun working as inteded?

Always ohk or two hit kills on anything but haven't used it since beta.

Just because you're not getting kills doesn't mean the game is broken. Shotguns are vicious now

Most guns in the game have a DPS of 600 Most people have 600 HP Meaning Time to kill is 1 second. You either suck at aiming or are just stupid. Either way your wrong it should be increased. |

Uhh, what? My Dren shotgun with no damage mods or proficiencies one shots many suits and two shots everything but tanked out proto logis and heavies. Make sure you're centering the spread. |

Use a different shotgun. Breach is a sub-par because of
- Smaller clip size
- Longer reload time. |

Which is part of what makes it fun, only having those two shoots, having to make them count made it a lot more fun at least for me. And it allways felt more rewarding being the one staying alive with the breach.
The longer reload time can be somewhat less of a burden with higher skills though even then the reload time will get you killed.
Regular shotguns are awesome now that hit-detection is much improved.
Breach shotguns though aren't even close to being a viable choice when you are up against anyone in proto suit. ( Let alone more than one person in proto suits. )
What is the point of having a myriad of options if only one or two is even near decent?
Is the breach shotgun working as inteded?

Prototype Breach SMG has less DPS than the Standard SMG...

Breach scrambler pistol I agree wholeheartedly, but I think the other two are rather meh.

ERM, maybe read what I put again? They weren't predictions and have not used it since beta so you must be right though.
