I've always considered this, which has given me a pretty unorthodox view on New Eden. Galm was born and raised in a mercenary station. Just try to imagine the implications of that. Things like starships and swirling solar systems are the norm for him. Ever since he was a child he's been exposed to soldiers loaded for war, massive dreadnoughts, and seemingly impossible technology... And he never seems to bat an eye.
Get him on a temperate planet untouched by war though... Something seemingly far away from the rest of the universe... It would seem like the most mysterious place in the world to him. Place Galm in a clash of arms and ideology and he makes himself right at home. Stick him in a corn field in Nebraska and he would be awestruck.
In the moment when I truly understand my enemy, understand him well enough to defeat him, then I also love him.

I suppose that is True.... of Kador as well, he hasn't lived on a temperate planet in years.... I'm actually considering writing this into a chapter somehow.
>WHAT THE HELL, I DON'T LIKE THIS! >"That's just the sky Galm." >There's... There's no ceiling? >"Nope." >WHATS THAT!? >"That's just a forest. Haven't you seen a plant before?" >THERE ARE THOUSANDS OF THEM!
