I don't like the changes to militia dropships. To me, the point was to have a cheap ship to practice learning how to control a real dropship- but now, they have "fly assist", and not only does it make it harder to fly once you've learned how to properly control one, it makes them useless for practicing for more expensive ships. Get rid of it please. What does everyone else think of them? |

At this rate I'll never be able to fly better ships.
Oh, do they? I've never flown the non-militia ships. I'm not a real dropship pilot. If they do have stabilizers, then JK ignore my post. Also the MLT stabilizers just got put in on Tuesday, so try them out again- they're definitely helpful if you haven't crashed 50 times getting the hang of it without stabilizers. |

Stabilizers are only supposed to kick in when you're doing nothing at all.
As a non-pilot, who uses only militia dropships, and purely for roof access at the start of matches, I dislike the stabilizers. It seems to me that they kick in the instant I'm not actively pushing the dropship in a direction, when what I really want is to continue doing the move that I started a second ago (generally a banked turn-stop, idk what to call it). Perhaps stabilization could be linked to a setting in the vehicle controls section of the options? If that's not possible, maybe just tune it so that it kicks in after ~3-5 seconds of inactivity. I respect that many new players will really appreciate the stabilizers, because I lost easily 50 dropships learning how to get anywhere at all with them, but now that I've put the effort in to learn, I don't like the computer meddling. |

Who? Me? Did you even read what I wrote? I learned how to fly, and now (as of patch 1.6) MLT dropships have a stabilizing system that has, to some degree, invalidated parts of my learning. |
