Roll back the 10% damage buff of a couple patches ago and lets see how she plays. In other words, signed. |

Fix MMing Tight HMG reticle and increase range Buff scouts, someway, somehow Leave assaults alone Reduce the Logi health to a reasonable amount so they are used for logi'ing insead of being mega assaults. Give Tanks the capabilities to kill the assault so the logi can pick him up.
And fixed. Not bad, although I would suggest nerfing logi health isn't right. They should be penalised for damage output When we got the 10% blanket increase to all weapons back in the day, perhaps we should now reduce it by 20% then add 2% per level for all suits including basic but not on the logi I am suggesting Logi's Health being brought down to assault heath. Those sum bitches can get 1200 HP. Assaults get 900. Why do they need so much more? Just equalize everything about the two besides the sidearm and equipment slots. Only weirdo is the Amarr Logi, which just needs to have a moderate loss in either speed or health to balance it out.
Can we please not bring the endless logi debate to this thread when there are tons of threads about this already? This thread is simply for stating whether you want TTK upped and suggestions on how to do that.

On the subject of newberries, increasing TTK or leaving it the same is essentially a wash when it comes to proto vs. standard or in fact increased TTK may actually help a newer player a very little. Sure a new guy with a standard AR can more likely take down a proto suit using a duvolle now, but how much quicker can that proto AR take down that poor bastard in a standard suit? If the game comes down to who spots who first, who has the best angle for getting shots off then there is a distinct advantage in kn owing the terrain and layout of the battlefield. Who knows these maps the best a new guy or fools like me who've been playing since closed beta?
Honestly, I've been doing fine if not improving my KDR on my assault alt. since yesterday, but I do think the game was better when it took a little longer to bring the enemy down. |

Honestly, I've been doing fine if not improving my KDR on my assault alt. since yesterday, but I do think the game was better when it took a little longer to bring the enemy down. Longer TTK puts less emphasis on bigger tank + DPS = win and makes core FPS essentials lie strafing and aiming more important. Not everyone is a twitch FPS player and not everyone understands the concept of strafing and tracking, but the least this game could do is meet half way so both sides are equally disappointed.
A great compromise is when everyone is equally unhappy eh? LOL
Anyway I came into Dust having never played multiplayer FPS only campaigns against AI where cover, uncover, fire at the AI is all you need to do. I can testify to the fact that those core FPS essentials you speak of get picked up rather quickly...now even in a game's campaign mode I always want to jump to the side while reloading for some damn reason! |
