We aren't rewarding players for their skill any more, the system is doing it for them and that's sad to see, a lot of players have voiced there complaints with AA and I think the complaining has moved more over to hit detection now. I feel CCP is a bit in denial about AA, at EVE Vegas they were discussing Dust's past, present, and the future a Dev said that AA was a outstanding improvement to the old aiming system. Yes outstanding at pissing people off. CCP you need to treat Dust like a flower you have to be very delicate with it you can't keep jerking us around and I think that's what people liked most about Chromosome the fact that we didn't feel screwed and toyed with. This is the same way you treat EVE and the reason you haven't released a lot of updates for Dust like the market because you want to make sure it's eased in to EVE why aren't you showing the same care for Dust?
All I am saying is remove AA and TTK will go up and people will stop crying accept for the blues which I will laugh at, then we can enjoy a game that is based on skill not the system doing it for us. I hope the AA discussion doesn't die because it's a huge problem in game.
And remember heavys and scouts it doesn't matter if you have over 1k hit points or a 10 sprint speed AA is gonna track you and kill you in seconds. I built a logi with over 1k hp and got mowed down so quick high hit points don't matter anymore it's simply coming down to who places the first shots and is the most accurate with the AA system.
Did it or any game ever have to be about player skill with a stupid game controller? Where are the leet proto guys calling DUST a game about teamwork now?
If it's about teamwork and squad play then skill at aiming is not where the emphasis should be. Moreover, there should be more emphasis on character skills for shooting rather than player.
