I agree. I love this game. The HMG being UP is about the only complaint I have on the gunplay. Vehicles are another matter. There are things that need to be done, yes, but, as CCP says, PvP is inherently unbalanced. What the community needs to do is wait for the PvE, let CCp balance the weapons for THAT, then the weapons will be truly balanced. But will people wait? I think they can still Gold Plate stuff 4000 years in the future, so that tiny layer of GOLD over my complex armor plates wont make the armor soft....
