The controller has a tendency to start swaying after I have zoomed in and taken aim. This is different than the sway when I first kneel and zoom in, this is after that point and I am zoomed in and following a target - it starts swaying again; and my operation is at a five, and this has only started with today's new version release. |

Is your left stick loose?
Incidentally, someone I was playing with today was complaining that his assault rifle, when zoomed in, looked like it had a sniper scope, not sure of the specifics, may be something to look into though. Though I suppose complaining is the wrong word because that would be pretty fantastic in some cases lol |

Are you using sniper rifle or other weapons? This happens sometimes with have the sniper rifle, the sway just never stops. It is hard to reproduce as it is random and happens sometimes days apart. Next time I'm on an alternative and it happens I'll take pictures of the spot I was in, as well as map information. This issue usually does stay for a few minutes at a time, even after moving and trying to zoom in again. I use both the kb/my and the controller, and think the issue is when using both in a short period of time of each other. |

I'm not sure how long you've played this game so I'll have to ask: Are you standing still?
A lot of people are coming over from some really bad game where sniper sway only exists through forward and reverse movement while lateral movement does not cause it... Which seems ridiculous, but FPS and logic rarely go hand-in-hand. You're sure you're only moving the right analogue stick?

FYI, been playing since beta... I know the game, as I have played an average 25 hours every week. (I'm retired)
One way to change a Mercenaries mind about doing something is with a Sniper Rifle.
