Shouldn't take 2 people to kill someone with a heavy weapon. The logi/heavy duo may be back, but a heavy is nothing without a threatening HMG.
I tried to put a level into Amarr Commando once, but got a server notification saying "Why?"

Well according to some, a heavy HMG is suppose to need help to kill people ... like... the logic in this is beyond my years. I remember earlier builds when you so much as heard the HMG rev up, everyone in proximity would **** their pants in fear because they knew that if they turned that corner they were going to be shredded by a wall of lead. Even if heavies are "intended for point defense," (which I still call bull ****) the damn gun needs to kill, and more efficiently than an AR. If you get flanked, overheat or need to reload, you're screwed. That's how it should be.

I remember call outs were "Lance, heavy on B!" ... now? lol... I hear "Heavy on B...he's dead". Back then, scouts were speedy, acrobatic little freaks. While paper thin, they could outmaneuver just about everything and wreck you if you let one get close. They were the heavy's kryptonite.
I might have been more scared of scouts than heavies back then now that I think about it.
