From how I see it, you have 3 choices.

 1) Join an already very strong corp in the knowledge that you'll probably win most of the time and get lots of isk and have lots of fights with very little effort at all.

 2) Create a new corporation with high hopes thinking "Yeah, THIS corp is gunna be the one"

 3) Join one of the smaller 'middle tier' corps that aren't packed full of slayers but have been around here longer than all the 'top tier' corps and will continue to outlast them. They win some, lose some. It'll be a challenge but a far more rewarding experience as you actually have to work for victory.

I think I know which option most will go for.

pointless for NS to split off.. they're nobodies with great timers so never get attacked.

the NA version of them is not strong to keep it simple.

some good people tho, and back when everyone else was active they had a formidable crew.

They DO however have proficiency V in pubstomping. they haven't lost that trait ;)

I wouldn't do number two, there's not enough to keep new players and the few that do stay get proto with nothing to apply it to other than grenade lagquest which is not enough to warrant any kind of effort.

We don't get slayers from super A teams. We never have. We've brought in some great players from all over the place, we've got some guys from Ancient Exiles but they were in our corp before they went there.

I'd love for us to get some of these guys if only temporarily to help provide some insight into what can be fixed or honed in our strategies.

In hindsight I wish we'd hired teams of ringers more often during wars and had some of our leaders in the battles with them to see how they do things. But we tried to go it alone aside from alliance help from time to time.

come on now... #2 was a big....#2 agree on others tho :P i guess but it was lots of fun to see the tears. in reality we were just going to use nova knife heavies in PC but we decided to go tryhard. O_O. it was still fun. u attacking me didn't make it better who knows wat i would have done with the districts O_O. honestly i have no idea. probably just sold the clones. i had no way to defend them if i did win against u guys because i wasn't going to be on the next week so i was going to lose it one way or another. XD plus i roadkilled u and killed ur thales guy with a milita sniper. obviously tht was a win enough for me. :D

The thing is, I have been trying to create my own army to fight my way, I have been trying to fit my suit my way, iv been trying to do my thing, as advertised, and since doing this I have had the least amount of fun you could possibly imagine save for watching and training everyone in my corp to a decent standard, for what though? CCP needs to step it up a lot because at this rate all that will be left in my corp are what's was there to begin with, core players waiting for it to be worth expanding, again.

Inactivity is plaguing my corp, I'm not the CEO but I do the dust, my CEO the eve.

Tldr- Doing your own thing is a fking drag, don't do it lol.

Why join a big corp when you can make a name for yourself in a small corp and grow together as an actual team? Us Foxhound guys would really like teaching newbies the basics and helping them become better but meh.
