In 1.6 the knives hardly feel any different. I still can't properly kill a sprinting target, I still can't sprint with the charge held, some people still report bad hit detection on stationary targets on the Scouts United chat channel. The only noticeable difference is that the attack arc feels slightly wider. That's it.
CCP, I'm going to ask you a very important question. I may sound a little needy asking it, but it has to be asked. What "specific improvements" did you really make to the nova knife hit detection? And don't be vague with the answers, please. I want all the details regarding these so-called improvements.
Does anyone else notice anything different about the knives in 1.6?

I was under the impression this was going to be implementation of CCP Wolfman's proposal to add a 'dash' when using them. Is that not part of the changes?

I've gotten a good kill withthem, but that obviously does not discount the possibility.
CCP wants me to specialize? But there's so many weapons!

I killed a few people walking away from me which wasn't easy to do pre 1.6. Sprinting with the knives should be available as it's pretty awkward chasing someone with a knife, but not being able to use them until he slows down. You are better off using an assault rifle even if you're right behind a sprinting enemy.

I want to know too because I have decided to use nova knives too (albeit I use them on my lol sentinel with a plasma cannon)
