Folks at digital extremes (War Frame) are expressing similar issues with the Sony QA process and with their monthly updates the PS4 version of warframe will be lagging behind and as long as the two games are not patch matching there can be no 'rainbow bridge' where the pc and ps4 version can cross play. It would seem the PC version will be the bearer brunt of bad patches (DE puts out a lot of patches for a large content update to fix things I counted up to 11 patches in one weekend, I'll give them props for rapid turn around though and the bugs are generally nowhere near as bad as BF4's)

CCP did most of the rock budging already because Sony is highly interested in an MMO and F2P markets in the next gen war and CCP was at least willing to shove Sony on the manner.
World of Tank Developers are learning the absolute HARD WAY with Microsoft and having to repeat nearly every 'battle' CCP already fought with Sony.

PS4 seemed to be moving in a very accepting way towards indie games and f2p games. Sony will have to be more accommodating however to allow that.

It's not the hardware, I can tell you that much... That fact is incredibly obvious that the Hardware has little to do with this at all. Do you even read around? The game is incomplete because of programming not hardware... Your question doesn't even make any sense.

Honestly though, the XBOX looks like a retro VCR. And I don't mean retro in a good way.

What can they do apart from inform their playerbase and hope we can pressure them into changing their mind? Seems to me Sony is taking huge risks by loosening up their grip on patch testing. Let's face it, all it takes is a single patch tha somehow breaks software/hardware for there to be a massive PR nightmare.
And let's be honest, how many journalists are going to NOT blame Sony if a dev puts up a patch for a gam that breaks a console in one way or another? PCs are so varied that when something goes wrong it could be for countless reasons so people don't get too worked up. Consoles are a bit "safer" in that everybody is workng on the same hardware and software, so if something is done poorly on the dev side Sony is the safety net that catches the **** before it splatters all over our faces.
Peoplelike to point at Sony and say they're the bad guys, but Ithink people wouldchnge their tune if this system wasn't in place. I think the good outweighs the bad, if only just. CCP either didn't relize how restricting a console would be or just didn't plan well enough when they decided to make a "revolutionary" FPS. Oh well, I guess. They're being constantly reminded nowadays and it's too late to back out or change their gameplan without committing PR suicide.
PS: Typing ona Vita so excuse the typos; spellchecking is a nightmare on this screen.

Yep, whoring out directly to Sony.
This never did any good for Bungie when the did the same thing with Microsoft for xbox. All Bungie did was get their biggest release, HALO co-opted by Microsoft and not much else.
In the meantime, Bungie's groundbreaking game MYTH 2 was sacrificed.
Have you ever heard of MYTH 2? It really wasn't that long ago and that game is already lost to history.
Bungie could still be sitting on a gold mine with MYTH 2. They said they needed the capital butGǪ

The unimportant feel of the game look at EVE people truly feel like they are immersed in a second world you hear things all the time like your actions have consequences and that sandbox MMO nature of EVE, Dust just doesn't have that, that feeling of joining an alliance and carving out land in PC just isn't there. Honestly and on EoN no disrespect but who cares? If Dust was more like EVE EoN would be more feared and loved but it's like who cares if your the biggest corporation in pony express.

It's why some peoples boxes were getting borked in early beta (hence the switch to Unreal Engine), while others were just fine.
But as for the general idea, yes, they are a bit more focused in their stability and predictability for programming.

EVE doesn't have it either, really. The type of "immersion" that comes from Eve could come from any multiplayer game. Hell people get immersed in board games (DnD) in the same fashion. EVE is the background noise to the TRUE content of the game - the players. It's just that Eve has been building & improving content for ten years whereas most boardgames don't. I personally never heard ofa situation where Eve players were praising and focusing on the game elements rather than what the community did within.
Eve appealed to a niche audience that could (and probably would) createthe same kind of community in any sandbox game in that setting. These same people come to Dust trying to dothe same but this game just doesn't support that type of interaction - and may never.

Oh and another key to throw grenades would be apreciated, i mean X is bad for cooking grenades because what about if i needed to strafe right witch is D, i cant use 1 finger to operate 2 control keys at the same time.
All of this stuff makes me have 40-60% accuracy opposed to my regular 90%+ accuracy without being able to nade properly.

That's why I put safer in quotes. Three hardware variants vs. PC possibilities. PS3 all run the same firmware as far as I know. PC has Windows, Linux, Mac....maybe more I don't know about.

The TTK jumping across the spectrum, between builds, between guns, between DEVs, and none seem to have quite read each other's notes on the fact. Personally, the game was the most fun when the TTK facilitated a Strafe-Shooter mindset, but now that it has Twitch-Shooter TTKs the game just doesn't stick out as much as it used to. Let the Modern Military Shooter have TTKs of a second or less, Sci-Fi has shielding :c
For a frame of reference, imagine if EVE or TF2 had DUST's TTKs. A veteran of those games would proceed to excrete sadness from their eyeballs.
