True isn't even joking, we were literally in a squad with another guy playing Dust and it kept showing all it's ugly faces, so we decided to quit and play Slay instead.
Oh and nice write-up of the war True. All I have to say is one thing. Also I don't think you gave enough credit to the Gold Empire. Very shortly after establishing the south west I had extended my reach far to the north and and saved your ass numerous times along my eastern border, as well as taking out enemy artillery cannons preventing your growth.

Void Echo wrote:in the beginning I had attempted to take down the gold and blue territories before they had enough power to take the south, but I failed because all of my territories were separated by turrets I couldn't get passed which resulted in very week defenses that fell without struggle or much fight... sadly once my southern most territory was torn apart my presence in the central part fell to the golden territory and I was wiped out from the central part to the southern parts, so the south fell to blue and gold, all that was left was a hope of reclaiming my former purple glory and trying to take the north cap while at the same time fending off blue from the central to the south while red would have held back gold in the last effort to buy myself time, in the end thought gold cut off all my recourses and decimated my army without warning and thus I was eliminated.
gg guys, I expect more of these stories as we progress through the slay. The turrets are the key to success. I have the game on my phone and on "Very Hard" mode that is all the AI do, so I figure there has to be something to it. It fores you to take out a tank if you want to continue to expand in that directions, and tanks cost 18 hexes to maintain so it isn't really feasible in most situations.

Perhaps though out of cannon the poor hex selecting mechanics were the only reason my empire collapsed the first time, and there were a dozen times the Blue Conclave could have cut off your armies thus saving Red and Purple, and White...... which like a good solider I did not do. Granted, Gold Empire could of decimated the Blue Conclave at enemy moment. Even if you divided my lands, each segment would have enough fire power to pound you into the ground. But I don't want to do that, Gold Empire are a peaceful people. We don't want to fight, we just want justice. That is all. Is that too much to ask?

In the last story I told your army to disband so you can focus your government income on cultivating the arts. Your people were always the better artists.

Yeah but we didn't disband because YOU told us to. We saw there was no hope and THEN disbanded. Why do you have to get into the technicalities. I told you to disband, you were going to disband anyways, what does it really matter? In the end we all got to enjoy the great music and artwork of the East Autocratic Red Empire.

Oh, Void and I also had another Great War after you guys left. The Imperium of Beige set up primarily in the East, but with a small pocket in the West. The Autocratic Red Empire set up all along the West, divided in a Northern and Southern regions. Both empires made a truce and progress through there lands, but the Red desperately wanted to unite its people and did not give the pocket in the West Beige created to have safe passage to their homeland. Luckily, Beige was cool in the matter and did not retaliate, but it did set them back quite a bit. Because of this, when all the dust settled, the Red Empire was a fair chunk larger, but that was alright as their truce remained strong.

That can be said for myself and a lot of people I know. The best part is the mood is completely random every single time.

East Autocratic Red Empire- Ruthless, Efficient, Romantic, Artistic
You too were lucky

You had 2/3 the map, I solidified my borders, gave you an ultimatum to retreat, and you did not condemning your people to EARE citizenship....and your started a war over it. Which I managed to hold out with less districts for a rather long time. I was not the Imperium of Beige that round, I was the Federation of Beige, a democracy. I wanted to confront Red for not allowing safe passage of our troops, but the liberals voted against it and won.
And hey man, the Imperium of Beige do not accept their lands to be taken over by anyone, even friends. Worse yet, my people in that region were on the frontlines fighting off the savage barbarians from the other empires, and so thought it would be ok to not even commemorate that? It does not matter if I owned 2/3 of the map of 1/10, it is the principle of the matter. We of the Imperium thought the Red were our friends, but their actions denoted otherwise.

The offer was made your refusal was clear, tolerance for freedom lovers in the EARE is 0. What offer? You said "Don't expand in my territory and I'll make you an Embassy." So I didn't. The next move, you decided 9 hexes was too large for an Embassy and attacked my land and my people. Don't try to spin this around, you were the aggressor.

You too were lucky The People's Golden Empire - Loyal, liberating, calm, and merciful Imperium of Beige - Headstrong, unifying, unwilling to sacrifice any land, regardless of where God placed it, vengeful Merciful? Loyal? I was on comms.... "Shall we betray white now?" I said shall we engage on White because he was making pushes into our territory beyond the conditions that we provided for him. However, the Golden Empire was merciful and didn't even take back the land that was stolen from them, but rather set up clear defenses to let them know it was unappreciated.

9 Hexes is not an embassy. One is, and you started the war without re-establishing diplomatic relations, which I tried to endorse several times.[/quote]Who are you to decide that? Worse yet, that decision was made without my consent. Did you even consider how many families you destroyed because of your actions? The Imperium of Beige will not stand for this!
