Please tell me how the MD needs to be nerfed. It seems perfectly balanced to me
- Slow Travel Time
- Small Blast radius until upgraded to level 5
- Half a clip to kill a starter fit (unless using damage mods and/or prof. skills)
- Really low ammo (18 rounds total)
- Does jack all against shield tankers without flux grenades
- Terrible ADS
- Ability to be buttplugged by SCR and AR users before first shot even travels to the target (in mid range combat)
- Awful weapon when forced to aim up or in terrain obsticals such as hills and mountains)
- Only effective against scouts and armor tankers
This thread is disused as a QQ thread
A no skill scrub weapon? You are an ASSault that uses ASSault Rifles?
Try aiming up with the weapon and get back to me on that one.

If Mass Drivers are so OP in your opinion then stop staking armor plates just use shield extenders.
It is designed to be super effective against armor, so it's gonna be super effective against armor, that's just it doing its job

My point was its a no skill weapon, at lease with the AR I have to aim at the head of a moving target, with a MD all i have to do is get the high ground and shoot in the correct direction!
You cannont aim at the ground and expect to win against shield tankers, heavies, and people who aren't directly infront of you
The splash damage and blast radii does not migrate with travel time, it's just that smart people aim where the person is going to be instead of where they are.
Small blast radius until upgraded to level 5, yeah it's true.
And finally, it's a crowd control weapon. Just like the LR it is supposed to be good at killing massive blobs of people, the MDs tradeoff is the ineffectiveness at long ranges. Just like the LR is devastating at long ranges but is horribly bad in CQC.
Everything has it's drawbacks in this game, except ARs. I see no drawback with them

Hey look, the one weapon we both agree on it not needing a nerf.
But lets stay on topic here
The MD is one of the few counters to ARs, and without them we'd basically just be playing a futuristic version of CoD where everyone uses ASSault suits and ASSault Rifles and do nothing but run and gun each other down while spamming Cores like a scumsickle.
I'm honestly not sure if I should call this game Grenadier 514 or CoD514, but either way, it's pretty F***ed up atm
