Why don't we share our very first posts on the forums? Let's see how much of a noob we were back then, and/or how much we've changed?

"You know what truly happened? Weapons (AV included) were buffed by 10%. Standard tanks keep the same amount if shields/armor as if they were at L5. Except we get up to 10% passive resists. Basically, AV still does the same amount of damage to us as before. Perhaps a sliver less, because 100 + 10% = 110, and 110 - 10% = 99. So effectively, AV does 1% damage less than before, except we have to spend SP for a L5 skill while AV gets 10% damage buff for free."
LOL, I was a fighting merc from the start... but I'm a lot more cool with everything now.

I couldn't post back in Closed Beta, because of some stupid glitch restricting my access to the Forums.

This was my first opinion on Dust514.

It's hard to say, right now the game shares a lot of elements from other shooters. I think it's going to bank on how well it's integrated into the Eve experience and how organic the economy is. If the game doesn't reach a critical mass with it's connection to Eve (e.g. players only playing NPC contracts for one reason or another), then I think the game will slowly fade away. Otherwise I think it's integration to Eve will really set it apart from other games.
I could have sworn I had posts from May of 2012, I remember doing a "24 hours in, here are my impressions" post. Did all the old veteran posts get deleted after the character wipe? |

They deleted my first one. like 11 days into the CB, I came on the forums, and demanded to receive a speeder bike with a small blaster or 2 in the front of it.
