Seriously, I've probably lost over 2 million isk just from being killed by the vehicles that I jump out of. I'm sure it hasn't happened with tanks much, but almost every time I jump out of my LAV the game puts me IN FRONT of the damn thing and apparently I commit suicide. Someone just shot down my dropship, oh well that's no problem let me just jump out and OH LOOK MY FCKING DROPSHIP JUST RAN ME OVER IN MID AIR! How is it that CCP can manage to fix something only to break something else? Every. Damn. Time. It's not even about the isk. I could give two shts about the ISK. It's the principle. Every time I jump out and die the kill feed says SUICIDE. Maybe instead it should say CCP CANT FIX ANYTHING WITHOUT BREAKING SOMETHING ELSE. At least then it would be an accurate description of how I really died. |

You're right. I don't know why it is, but trying to jump out of moving LAV's (either on the ground or in the air) kills me every time. Should be fixed

I'm annoyed I didn't film it but this happened to me:
A guy killed me, then in the killfeed it said my name (commited suicide) the guy who killed me.
I managed to kill a guy, by dying to him! This game is pretty broken in some respects.

Happened to my director and I yesterday... he said something similiar like that in game lol.....
What it should do instead of ejecting people ( or jst the driver? ) from the front it should eject ya from the rear or side. Somewhere out of the way of the front end of the vehicle. Im sure most people wouldnt jump out of a vehicle out of the windshield..

I don't know any vehicle (real or fake) where the driver jumps out IN FRONT of the vehicle. This is just poor development on CCP's part. |

Man, I died last night while jumping out of my dropship. Died while jumping out of my car (slammed me into a wall). I've died while jumping out of every vehicle I enter. WTF is wrong with the programming here. Why do they exit you right in front of the vehicle. There is no door in the front of a dropship. There is no door in the front of a LAV. Why does my character get placed there if there is no door!?

I did get the tip that if you change seats in the dropship before you jump it wont kill you, but I shouldn't have to do that. I should be able to safely jump out of my vehicle without having to worry if the very vehicle that I paid for and called in is going to kill me instead of the dingleberries on the ground shooting at me. |

Once, I jumped out when an LAV did a little barrel roll. I got launched +100 m into the air and had to use my inertial dampeners to land. It was pretty awesome.

I usually try and slow down before jumping out.
The problem is when I jump out in between a wall and the LAV and it squishes me as the LAV keeps sliding. Most annoying thing.
I never had this problem back in chromosome...I think it's because it puts you out on the side of the vehicle and the mechanic that sticks you to the front of the tanks clips you to the vehicle and the absense of a player makes the LAV a giant boulder of death.
