Good for you for donating In regards to your op though, maybe you coul be like 95% of everyone else and go "huh another charity post, Welp they get no money from me" and ignore it and move on. Also Extra Life has been doing gaming marathons for at least 5 years that I know of so yeah they're legit.
I bet they are! Just like every other charity. Open your eyes to the real world. Charities are nothing more then a SCAM. ANYONE can start a charity.

Those that don't know, 75% of all donations, fund the charity. They pay for advertisements, payroll, office equipment, mansions. Yahts, sports cars, ect.
Makes you feel good that you bought some clown a new BMW? Most companies also offer a "kick back" to people helping them raise money.
