I too was surprised when I started seeing Cubs personally attacking Radar, and frankly it just ruined the respect and fun I had fighting him. Battles became somewhat personal and losses were taken harder then it should've been.
I actually think that Radar is a very capable Field Commander and Leader, how many leaders do you know are willing to; take input from subordinates in the heat of battle, take risks and the responsibility that comes with it or simply take a loss, learn from it and improve for the future. Personally Radar's leadership skills are second only to Loss Tovas (dont know if any of you remember him, i know Sota does) but he doesnt play anymore and Radar is filling that void in my <3 lol
Long story short: Hes a more capable leader than most that I've seen, and hes managed to capture my loyalty and respect
In the mean time I will continue to help him build OH. We have some relatively new members who are amazingly fun to play with and its only a matter of time before our team and squad cohesion starts to develop and improve.
Meanwhile don't get so angry when you see an OH/AE team, it is the combination of incredibly talented players who know their roles and understands how to get their job done as well as being led by either one or two effective field commanders. And fighting with this team has to be one of the most satisfying and jawdropping experience I've had in this game; the level of autonomy, skill and calmness involved in the execution of plans is simply awe inspiring, and I hope to learn more from it.

What better place to justify it than a video game? A place where we are a collection of anonymous voices and video game avatars existing in a relatively small and inclusive community?
Dust514, to me, is iike a social experiment; there are those that cannot seem to breakthrough the Meta regardless of how much they try and there are those that are capable of creating massive empires (like in EVE)
Those that can, like Radar, are able to use their conceptual and human skills to congregate and communicate, to bring together people under one banner and under one cause; to lead them.
This is what makes a good leader, and having it under the context of a video game does not diminish its value one bit.
THIS is why this game is so fascinating to me

And I generally cringe at the examples of the latter I've seen in all my ringing on alts & main and in videos and main. Most of the FCs I've played with and against rely on plug-and-play pre-planned doctrines being carried out successfully by highly proficient team members. The ability to adapt and - as nano says - 'micromanage' is generally underdeveloped. But... tis a game so w/e In other news... /me pulls out trusty popcorn bowl.

Your like 40 years old (might be exaggerating maybe only 35) and your calling out a child to do a perfect job. I'm not on your level of nerdiness. So I would appreciate you to stop hating on me. You say I'm garbage and I'm leading 0.H to ruin but I wanna point out you had to abandon the corp you made to stay relevant. In the meantime 0.H is still having fun. If I'm such a bad leader riddle me why Rei came back from TP. My leadership isn't strong with winning PC against stronger corps but by creating an environment were my guys actually want to play. Sure your corp(s) win but in the end my guys actually want to play the game. So continue abusing game mechanics so you can get some districts without fear of loss. In 2 months when none of your guys play anymore we will retake what is ours. Just giving credit where it is due, but doesn't he have a family and a full time career? I can barely balance school and a parttime job and this guy does all that and carries the weight of an alliance on his shoulders without spiking his blood pressure. With that said, you can probably write for days and get no where with him. amirite?
Exactly this +!
That goes for me too and the other members and directors as well.
